Some of the gardens included in the book are by well known designers such as Arne Maynard, Dan Pearson and Tom Stuart-Smith, while others have been created by their talented owners. Accompanying essays and interviews explore the history, design and planting of each garden, along with practical notes on topics from topiary and seed heads to winter blooms.
