These small 8cm pots are made from sustainable bamboo fibre. Ideal for sowing larger seeds from tomatoes and squash to sunflowers and cosmos, they will hold a single seedling until it is big enough to be planted out in the ground, without the need for pricking out or potting on. Available in sets of 10, the pots come in either navy/pale blue or pink/purple to brighten up your windowsill or greenhouse.

Bamboo fibre is an innovative composite made largely from a powder ground down from recycled bamboo products (such as old chopsticks), mixed with cornstarch and a small amount of melamine resin for binding. The pots can be used year after year, and have pre-pressed points at the base so you can create drainage holes with a pencil or screw driver. The two-colour sets come in Kraft packaging making them ideal gifts for gardeners.
