Handmade from coppiced ash, this compact dustpan and brush is ideal for hanging in the greenhouse or shed. I use it for sweeping my greenhouse benches, and it is a pleasure to use. Artist and woodworker Geoffrey Fisher makes these brushes from wood he coppices from his local woods in Buckinghamshire, using traditional woodworking techniques and the natural shapes and grains of the wood. The brush is made with natural pigs bristle and the pan from galvanised steel. An ideal present for a tidy-minded gardener.
